Is the Sharp Aquos really the best LCD?
Is the Sharp Aquos really the best LCD? I’ve heard it is, but does it have the best life too? Can the picture compare to CRTs? I want the sharpest, clearest, best looking HDTV $1,500 can buy.
Any thoughts?

I own two sharp aquos never had any problems with them. They are one of the first companys to make lcd tvs. But be advised every once and a while you can get a lemon no matter what brand you buy just make sure you buy it somewhere where they have a return period and double check everything closely when you un package your new lcd make sure there are no hot pixels. that would be my main concern because it happens it happened to me so i returned it for another one and dont let them talk you out of it because they will tell you that is common for lcd and plasma tvs. it is common but why spend all that money and have to worry about a dot in the middle of your screen that will never go away so dont be a fool because every time you turn your tv on it is gonna bother you
