Front-Projection vs. Rear-Projection: Which is better?
Which is better, Front Projection or Rear Projection TVs? (not which is a better deal)
I am planning on redoing (from the ground up) my basement into a home theater area. The room is medium size so I am probably looking at about a 60″ TV. The size of the devices and lighting in the room are not an issue.
I am looking for the best possible Home Theater Experience, so I want to know what the absolute best system for me to buy would be (no matter the price).
Which technology would be the best for me? Front-Projection or Rear-Projection?
Rear by far if going less than 120″ there is huge quality difference. Best are 30K
Front lets you make up to a 300″ display if you are wanting big. The best are 1080p at 30K
New 1080P rears are quite good. The best I saw was in SHanghai this past month. Rear with mirror at 100″ full 1080p. Way beyond what I had compared with any other product. I cant attach file here but email me for data sheet, I scanned it for myself. ken@knappster.com
